Star Wars 1313 will not be resurrected

The revival of Lucasfilm Games made some players hope for the return of the promising game Star Wars 1313. According to Jason Schreier, such a scenario will not come true.

    If you were hoping that the recent return to life of the Lucasfilm Games brand and the success of The Mandalorian series would bring back the abandoned project Star Wars 1313, then unfortunately we do not have the best news for you. The well-known industry journalist Jason Schreier published a short post on Twitter that leaves no illusions in this matter.

    It is worth recalling that Star Wars 1313 was announced in June 2012, and the first gameplay footage made a great impression on players, as did the trailer published a few months later. The production was supposed to be a spectacular action adventure game (it resembled Uncharted in the Star Wars universe) and was most likely created for PCs and PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Unfortunately, in March 2013 the future of the project was put into question, and at the beginning of April we learned about its definitive deletion, which took place with the closure of LucasArts.
